Meadow Elk, Stormy Tetons • While on my way to Yellowstone to lead a photo tour, this scene beconed me to the side of the road. The interplay of clouds and light on mountains is regular gift from the photo gods, a herd of elk added to the magic. I was short on time and didn't really have time for a panorama, but a single frame shot would have made the small elk nearly invisable. I hastily shot 6 vertical shots so I could magnify the elk and include the fence; yet, not be late for my photo tour appointment. I put the photos together later in photoshop.

Traditional Fine Art Prints • I have all fine art prints printed at Bay Photo, an internationally known custom color lab. After printing, Bay Photo ships the print to me for inspection and signing, I then ship them along to you. This takes awhile, be patient.

I spec them on “Moab’s Lasal Exhibition Luster” photo paper. Your paper print product will come pre-mounted on 3/16" Gator Foamboard, a very rigid, durable, and lightweight backing that will not warp, the premium backing for fine art prints. Having messed up prints myself putting them on mountaing board you will appreciate the extra effort and expanese.
